It’s about time.
A Minnesota prosecutor on Wednesday charged conservative provocateur James O’Keefe and influencer Cam Higby with felony counts of unlawful voting and identity theft after they misrepresented themselves at polling places in August using the names of registered voters.
…
The pair of influencers disguised themselves and recorded themselves going undercover using hidden cameras at the polling places. They posted videos capturing their interactions on social media in August. O’Keefe said in a post on X that they dressed in “Muslim garb” — including, for one of them, a full-face veil known as a niqab — and their goal was to “expose the sheer lunacy of Minnesota’s ‘vouching’ system.”
…
Police interviewed the registered voters whose names O’Keefe and Higby used, said Moriarty, who added that they also used names of deceased voters. Asked where they obtained those names, Moriarty said “We don’t know that.”
Once again, every accusation by a Republican is a confession.

I hope these goombahs are not left off easy. A year or two in the gray bar hotel might at the very least be in order. FAFO!
Yeah, but the Oompa-Loompa in chief will probably pardon them somewhere down the track.
Is there any chance Minnesota can bring back chain gangs for voter fraudsters? Please?
Hard to imagine a more egregious breach of election law
Gov. Walz pardon incoming…
Tina Peters meddling with ballots and voting machines in Colorado along with her Qanon buddies was worse. She had her sentence commuted and was released in June by governor Jared Polis (Vote Blue No Matter Who amirite?), and she met with Trump earlier this month to discuss a plan for “seizing ballots”.
In this case, he can’t.
The Trump pardon only works on Federal convictions.
The Minnesota charges are state and beyond his reach.
O’Keefe already has been in court before and lost several times.
He is obviously a one trick pony and a slow learner.
Yeah, I went into the bank and gave the teller a note reading “Give me money or else”. But I’m not a bank robber – I’m a journalist! I only committed that crime to prove how easy it would be for someone else to commit that crime.
Basis for that claim, beholder?
(I reckon you are doing your usual well-poisoning, which is rather feeble in my estimation)
FWIW:
Gov. Walz is leaving the post on January 2027; and
Under Minnesota law, Governor Walz cannot issue a pardon on his own; and
O’Keefe and Higby have only been charged via summons, therefore they have not been tried or convicted, which is a prerequisite for pardon consideration.
You can find the video they filmed of themselves attempting to commit some election fraud. They were wearing some cheap nylon Halloween costumes rather than anything resembling
Except the election workers took one look at them and politely declined to let them vouch, register, or vote in the primary.
It is nice when they provide the evidence that will be used against them in a court of law.
Oh look, beholder betrolling. Governor Walz isn’t going to pardon them, he won’t even be Governor by the time they go to trial. I don’t see any reason why Klobuchar would pardon these asshats either.
Whatever happened in Colorado isn’t relevant to O’Keffe.
To “tar someone with the same brush” means to unfairly assume that an individual shares the same bad qualities, faults, or misdeeds as someone else simply because they belong to the same group, team, or department.
~Cambridge dictionary of Idiom.
I’m not sure which logical fallacy it falls under.
My suggestion for dealing with “voter fraud”:
First offense: no jail time, no fine BUT a LIFETIME ban on voting. Pretty lenient, right? They get all that extra ‘election-day’ free time.
Second offence, during the lifetime ban (which they can’t claim they ‘didn’t know about’):
PUBLIC CRUCIFIXION.
My bet: there would be 3-4 crucifixions each election, 100% MAGA morons.
It would be most certainly be weaponised by MAGA for the purpose of harassment, as has been the case.
(Again, accusations = confessions in the MAGA mindset. ‘Lawfare’ they accuse, which they do)
