It’s certainly gratifying to see the chaos already swirling in the impending kakistocracy. The President Musk memes seem to really get under the skin of the President-Elect as well, so hopefully MElon doesn’t learn to moderate his public control of the demented old cretin.
I don’t think that Trump is exactly a meat puppet yet though, he’s not end-stage Reagan, he still appears to have agency – even while he lacks intellect or coherency. He has had literally years of training to say “you’re fired’ as if that was the defining trait for leadership, I assume that this will be one of his last cognitive abilities to fade. Any conspiracy to take him out of the chair with the 25th amendment will require the conspirators to retain their positions long enough to do so, without other members of the grifter/bigot cloud that orbits Trump becoming aware and informing Durr Fuhrer in the hopes of currying temporary favour.
They should print up backstabbing form letters to simplify the process:
It’s going to be a grim four years, with hopefully a lot of bleak humour to compensate. Hopefully Trump will be enough of a chaos agent that they will accomplish as little this time as they did the last time, and if there are elections in 2028, maybe the Democrats could learn a few lessons in dirty politics and what the public actually wants, and send a candidate who people actually like instead of just nominating the next ‘deserving party insider’ from the merit-list.
