I was sent a link to some pseudoscientific bullshit, and am finding the more I scratch at it, the deeper it drags me in. It’s unadulterated nonsense through and through, with this familiar veneer of academic pretension.

I’m picturing something like a very thick katana, made out of sawblade steel, maybe with carbide teeth still on the back-edge, quenched in the blood of capitalists and finish-etched in the tears of republican legislators… with nifty cast-on pink silicone grips, naturally.

I think silicone grips might be prone to causing blisters in the user, especially if they are hacking enough to potentially wear out a machete.
Maybe an epoxy resin? with a lanyard and shaped grip to prevent it slipping out of the hand?
