Ayuh, every time someone asks for due process against an officer overstepping the bounds of their duty, that’s pretty much what they think of the situation.

I am still not getting what the fuck that awkward roll was all about. The thought process behind it is just… I can’t fathom it. Unless it was because he knew he was being filmed and was starting to build a cover story for the eventual shooting he was wholly expecting to do that day. Whatever the case, his judgment is clearly not sound enough to be a LEO. Thank fuck whatever cockamamie thing he was envisioning going down wasn’t really happening and he didn’t bring his full plan into fruition. Scares me to think he was concocting a scene. Thankfully he did his own stunts and everyone saw through that shit.

Sorry to disagree. I think I can see where the artist is coming from but this Norman Rockwell painting comes closer to what I consider the proper relationship between the citizens and the police. The painting is of Ruby Brides being escorted to school by federal marshals. The proper relationship between the police and the citizens is the police as trusted and loyal servants of the citizens. The proper role for the type of police depicted in the painting is out-of-a-job police.

Not necessary; he knew he was being watched by a lot of people, so he put up that show for them to make clear that the situation was srs bzns.

It looked to me that he tripped right before he came into screen and rolled out of it, which isn’t that big of a deal. It isn’t nearly as absurd as him intentionally action-movie rolling for no reason.

However, if I’m right and it is the case that he tripped, it still shows that he was amped up, frazzled, hyper, and out of control in a situation where he should not have been.
