Happy Halloween!

People are always sending me pictures of their terrifying tentacled creatures, so I thought it only proper today to exhibit one that will send chills down your spine. Behold! A nightmare from Tupelo, Mississippi!

Note the cool regard of all she sees, the superior attitude, the tentacles, the stylish purple outfit with googly eyes on her head — she’s clearly an atheist. You will bow down before her.

Nah, a true nightmare from Tupelo would be an Elvis costume. (Surely you knew that was coming….)

If you have read the graphic novel “Wormwood vol.3: Calamari Rising” you will know it IS possible to combine cephalopod horrors with Elvis. Or Elvii, if you count the ones in parallel universes (it’s complicated).

My small one is going out trick or treating with one of her dolls dressed in a costume much like this one. Second generation horde member in the making.

    … and a disappointed witch.

Well just watch out she does not turn you into a toad.

The Google doodle has a blue octopus behind one of its doors.

    There’s one non-behaving b(r)at and a disappointed witch.

Sounds like my house. Except it is a teenager who will be hearing a resounding “No!” for future requests.

LATIN DOES NOT CONSIST OF ADDING “II” TO EVERYTHING!!

    THERE ARE RULES, DAMMIT!

    It’s Elvēs.

Or Elvibus if with takes the dative.

(On a side note, I’d forgotten that I’d stashed my pr0n in my Latin grammar.)

    Scary.

Looks like a Blue-Ringed Octopus to me. Beautiful colours. Deadly toxin. Hope no-one gets bitten.

Three years must be a confusing age…

Eighteen is also a confusing age.

    So is 46.

I made an octopus costume for my friend’s kid once. IT WAS AWESOME though because I made the front two tentacles attached to sticks so he could poke people with them. Never got a picture :(

That’s my baby! Thanks, Peezus! Surprised the shit out of me by posting that. Unexpected, but made me and my lovely wife quite happy. Baby doesn’t care… Yet. Screenshot saved for later.
