PZ, your daughter is probably the most ridiculously clear, concise, and intelligent-sounding sixteen-year-old I’ve ever encountered, and I’ve worked with and known many. Wasn’t even THAT long ago that I was one, myself, but she’s certainly got me trumped at that age. Kudos to you both.

…I kid, because at 16 I was an idiot, and it embarrasses me that others aren’t. I do know a lot of 16 year olds, though, and I can safely say that this one has unfeasibly high levels of awesome. If she is not our benevolent overlord within 20 years then she has wasted her potential.

Somebody had to start it. We can debate over which one we want to use for years, so I just went with one.
Skatje’s right. We could debate for years over which symbol to use.
Hmmm. I just noticed Rosio Pavoris has a mentis in the lower right column too. Maybe this is catching on.
