No actual post this week. Thanks to this wonderful world created by US hegemony, I had to spend most of this week’s energy trying to find a new source of income. If anybody wants to cover my rent going forward, I’ll be sure to post more regularly.
Ireland for a few years now. I don’t mind not being in the UK right now, but I do miss the Scottish NHS. Ireland is more neoliberal in general. Moving here was moving closer to the US in more ways than one.
It’s a nice place to live, and I seem to be one of the few that actively enjoys the climate. It is also, like most of Europe, not exactly easy for a USian to get any kind of permanent status.
i half recall you didn’t originally leave ireland by choice. if so, congrats on being back. hard to imagine the difficulties of being an immigrant; hope i never have to, as much as it can be scary here.
were you still in scotland?
