This post is an experiment, where I share events that I thought might be of interest to my Copenhagen readers – they are mostly related to science, feminism, and tech. I have left out any events that are sold out at the time of my writing.
I am thinking of creating similar posts from time to time (by-weekly or monthly). If you think this is a good idea, please let me know in the comments. Also, please let me know if there is anything you think I have missed.
Note: a lot of the links will take you to facebook, as they have been shared as facebook events.

As luck may have it, I will be in Copenhagen on May 11th and 12th. Anything happening then that’s in English?

So far I haven’t come across anything those days, but I will keep my eyes open. Be aware that May 12th is a public holiday in Denmark, so a lot of shops will be closed.
I’m not even in town myself those days, as I will be in Poland for a conference.

Well, I’m not really in town for the shopping (except for the usual touristy trinkets), but 3 day weekends are always a good time to visit a city and Prayer Day seems like a low key, if interesting holiday. Warm rolls and church bells and a reason to go to Langelinie and Christiania (not that I really need a good reason for either of those places) will make my vacation a bit more interesting. Thanks for the heads up!
