The sad truth is that no matter what we do, the government will find a way to do what they want. They just have too much power, including influence on the media.

It seems that a government elected by the people is a joke. Government make a big song and dance about abiding by it’s constituents wishes – but as we see that is just lip service. They get in and do exactly what they want with little regards for the general public or the rights of the general public.

It is sad that this seems to continue despite the promises made in the lead-up to the last election. For me it is clear that the US public want such torture tactics to stop for good.

There should be a seperate gooverning body to check on human rights violations within the government. A fair go needs to be given to everyone.
