I was sent this comic by Ian.
I have a vague impression that he might have been making some point or other to me, but I can’t quite imagine what it would be. Of course I know how to hug. Hugs are for crushing everything.

There’s an old joke in which “How to Hug” is an encyclopedia volume.

The point I was making is that theists and creationists just don’t understand that you’re just trying to hug them. In the face.

Wonderful. Now I can tell certain people “I’d really like to hug you” and it can be codespeak, like “Bless your heart”.

I think watching Bugs Bunny et al. as an impressionable child has a lot to do with who I am today.

well, in watching it, you were seeing writing and themes from the works of many great authors, like Shakespeare, Steinbeck, and Hemingway, and even exposure to classical pieces of art and music.
You simply don’t get that from watching “My little Pony” or “Thundercats”.
*shrug*
The work of a clown can veil untold depths with comedy.

Reminds me of Copernicus the haunted monkey. “A hug is like a strangle you haven’t finished yet.”
