    Gotta say, this whole thing is rather unimpressive from a conspiracist point of view.

    I see similarities here:
    — the 9/11 documents: what’s been declassified is non-convincing either way;
    — the UFO (now UAP!) documents: what’s been declassified is non-convincing either way.

    But I do like her take; nicely snarky.

    The origins of SARS-CoV-2: A critical review. Cell. (published online Aug. 19, 2021) [doi: 10.1016/j.cell.2021.08.017]

    Since the first reports of a novel severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS)-like coronavirus in December 2019 in Wuhan, China, there has been intense interest in understanding how severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) emerged in the human population. Recent debate has coalesced around two competing ideas: a “laboratory escape” scenario and zoonotic emergence. Here, we critically review the current scientific evidence that may help clarify the origin of SARS-CoV-2.

    This should drive the COVID was engineered in a Wuhan lab nut jobs into a veritable frenzy.

    @1: the UFO (now UAP!) documents: what’s been declassified is non-convincing either way.

    I disagree. The recent evidence, i.e. the three military videos released, are truly abysmal. If this is the best evidence in favor of UFOs then I am prepared to rule them out.
    Also, I am deeply concerned that no one on the Pentagon understands common photographic artifacts like bokeh.
