Campbell Brown is a former TV personality who used to masquerade as a journalist who now has become part of a group that is seeking to bust teacher unions. Andy Kroll exposes the secretive anti-teacher groups backing her. (She also happens to be married to Dan Senor, one of the Bush administration’s team that lied to people about the Iraq war during the US occupation of that country, and together they form part of the incestuous government-media complex.)
Brown appeared on The Colbert Report and got one of the harshest grillings I have seen him give a guest. It was a virtuoso performance by him because while staying in character as a right-wing anti-unionist who supports Brown’s position, he managed to expose her for the corporate-sponsored anti-union hack that she is.

I actually thought Colbert was rather flustered, like he knew he wanted to expose her but didn’t know how to go about doing so.
She gave an absolutely ridiculous answer to the “why can’t I know where your money comes from?” question.
I am disgusted with Campbell Brown and her policies. She should be ashamed of herself for disparaging teachers. I taught in the New York City public schools in special education for many years and met dedicated and inspired teachers who were working in difficult schools and were totally committed to helping their students. Brown should find something else to do with herself as her careen is kaput.
