My brother was a DJ at a college radio station a few years back. When Pope John Paul II was in ill health and was clearly knocking on death’s door, and during the subsequent papal conclave, he would provide updates on the situation, calling it “De-pontification 2005.”
It would be totally awesome if they made popepicking into a reality TV show! That way I could ignore it like I do reality TV instead of ignoring it like I do the mad goings on of the religious. I could save a lot of ignoring.
