How to respond to a death

Robert Mueller has died. It’s not that I have strong feelings about this guy, but I was pleased to see that Donald Trump did have strong feelings.

Robert Mueller just died. Good, I’m glad he’s dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Remember this! When the old orange dotard finally dies, he has nicely set an example of the appropriate response. “Donald J. Trump just died. Good, I’m glad he’s dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people!” It’s perfect!

    But…
Wasn’t this the administration that wanted people prosecuted for “celebrating his death” if anyone said any criticism at all of Charlie Kirk?

PS -Do any of you hear what the Scottish bloke says at the end of his suggestion? I don’t get regional British.

The only problem is that the actions Trump has taken and is taking today will continue to harm people for many years to come.

I’m surprised Trump hasn’t been posting *as if* inconvenient people died, expecting everyone else to play along.

The day that The Orange Turd dies should be declared a national holiday, with celebrations across the nation.

Look, I’ll say this for Trump: he was more polite about Mueller’s death than I will be about Trump’s.

People will be queueing to dance on Trump’s grave.

So many that it might be worth building a ballroom.

    Hang on…

Trump is obviously unaware that being dissed by him is a good thing, whether you’re dead or alive.

This was broadcast before the Mueller news, but I include it for context. It is just wall-to-wall awfulness (presented in a fun way)

@ chigau (違う) – 21st March 2026 at 10:10 pm : “I would prefer that Trump live long enough to face prosecution.”

Of course, Trump did face prosecution and was actually convicted on 34 counts and was facing other trials too but that evil convicted felon got elected POTUS anyhow because of the likes of Stein, Repugs, non-voters, the Only-A-Unicorn-Will-Do mob, the Abandon Biden-Harris klowns, Voter suppression and maybe also Musk manipulations too.

But yeah, I know what you mean. Sadly these days Trump could veryeasily get off any trial based on no longer being compos mentis – yet he remains in charge of the world’s rogue superpower and largest military.

  14. StevoR says

If Trump does now face justice again, I fear its going to have to be of the mob variety..

That and the already extremely damming verdict of history. Which cannot put Trump behind bars unfortunately. If only it could..

This always reminds me of Moms Mabley and her comedy bit (American Comedy Box !) about being told to only say good things about the dead: “He’s dead. Good.”

Somewhere else I saw a picture of a proposed Trump gravestone which is a urinal.

While I would not mourn his death, it’s a shame he”s too stupid and unimaginative to appreciate its aftermath. I’d rather prefer downfall and dishonor first, and a long enough life after for it to sink in. It’s unfortunate that the worst and least reflective of us are usually exempt from the consequence of their history. But in this world we rarely get all we want unless we write it in a novel. So if death in ignorant bliss is the price we must pay to be rid of a tyrant, I’ll settle for the compromise.

Now that Trump made it OK to not be politically correct, it is OK for us to say the same of similar things about folks on the other side, Charlie Kirk, Stephen Miller and so on. I do not want Trump to die; I want him to live. On life support without sedation. Put a chest restraint and four points him to the bed and let him cook. No really, it’s ok to talk like this now.
