The president asked people to pledge allegiance to him, personally, begged them to cheat in the elections, and told them to go to hell if they don’t vote.
I pledge to the greatest president in the history of the United States. That loves us so much he can’t even breathe. That I will go out with my family, my friends. I’ll do it any way—I don’t care if I’m registered or not—I’m going to try to cheat like hell like they do.

The MAGA cultists aren’t just dumb haters. They also have a history of violence. The latest was an attack on the Wisconsin governor candidate, Amy Acton, five days ago at a county fair. The guy had two guns and a taser.
I don’t know, somehow, calling for Democratic party candidates and office holders to be killed just doesn’t seem consistent with living in a successful democracy.

We should remember Trump was angry at Mike Pence because Pence did not throw the election to Trump. It isn’t like Trump has attempted cheating in the past.
I don’t know what’s surprising. It’s always been about him and about winning – by fair means or foul. Even the broken promises – believe the $5000.00 payments when you’ve deposited the check and it clears – don’t make much of a dent with his core supporters but then that’s a trait of cults. What’s going to hurt him the most is being a lame duck president. I suspect he’ll find a way out – maybe health issues – if he loses big time in November. Roll on the midterms!
So, it’s a secret ballot, at least in theory, right? What’s to stop me from voting straight Democratic and claiming to him I voted GOP? Not that he’d give anyone the money, anyway.

Although, I think stating the situation in nationalist terms is problematic. There’s no question that the Empire is centered in the US and dominated by rich Americans, but they are not alone. The oligarchy is all over the world. Nations are just lines drawn by the same oligarchy that draws lines between men and women, white and black, one religion and another and no religion. Nationality is a tool of the Empire.

I am a cardiologist, not a lawyer, so I am fuzzy on the legal technicalities, but one point is that it would be illegal for Trump to offer his own money as a bribe, but his offer is to use federal funds, which apparently is not illegal, just as promising to lower prices if elected is not illegal.
I beg all Americans to read up on the Mark Hofmann scandal involving his forgeries of Mormon letters and documents and how the Mormon Church conspired to hide the resulting embarrassments from its brain-dead flock. Regardless of the evidence that Mormon founder Joseph Smith was a convicted serial conman, some 16 million Mormons today believe the total BS he fooled them with. Today we have some 75 million Americans who have been suckered into believing President Trump’s equally preposterous lies. It does not bode well for the future of this country.
