I can’t help thinking of the idiots for whom the tragedy of 1933 was FDR coming into office… a “socialist”.

I sort of agree with her. German Nazi comparisons are just so over the top. It’s not as though Trump is rounding up people en masse or threatening to take over neighboring countries. I mean, our military swears allegiance to the Constitution, not to any individuals, no matter how smart, handsome or farsighted they may be. Trump isn’t raising his right arm at columns of troops goose-stepping past his reviewing stand. Non-white ethnic groups aren’t being slandered or called vermin that must be eradicated. Come on, people, that’s not who we are. Is it?

Is it really, Birger? 12Ltbi4yCnG doesn’t mean much to me.

But fine, health insurance branches of companies should be mean enough to its customers so it doesn’t get into trouble, someone writes. Allegedly. In Facebook.

(No Meta in 1933, so it sure doesn’t feel like it)

Of course not, he has only threatened to occupy Panama, seize Greenland, militarily if necessary , and annex Canada.

I don’t know about you, but as a Canadian, I consider him a very, very, serious treat to my country.
