Back from rally at CWRU in Cleveland.
I phoned in support to my state reps.
Folks in the office who answered were only dimly aware there was *a* rally far off in the building and hadn’t heard what was being said. So I spelled out the rally’s stated goals.
I was at the Seattle rally. Nice turnout, many good speakers, and our governor showed up in support as well.
Trump wants to cut NSF funds by 2/3 and NSF personnel fro 25-50%. WTF? Is he trying to kill off all science in the US, not just medical research?

Perhaps, first look at whatever adduced justification has been adduced, don’t just exclaim absent any information.
(Then you can speculate about motive with at least some information)
