I seem to be sinking into a gray funk, so I figure I’ll have a conversation to cheer me up. Since I live in the middle of nowhere, I’m looking to see if anyone on the net wants to join in. Let’s meetup at 9pm Central this evening and talk science…you can argue with me about my recent video on mosaicism, or whatever you’re interested in. Laugh at creationists! That always entertains.

Sorry I lost this one, what with the timezone and all (and I still have your mosaic lecture to digest).
Bub-but how there can be such zones if the Earth is flat? I don’t know anything anymore…

I reckon your wife is spot on with the planting local natives – that’s one of the things I try to do with my (Aussie) garden here too.
An example of that Dr Becky’s youtube channel I mentioned is here – K2-18b: did JWST really find evidence of life on this exoplanet? (17 mins long) and I did look up the Paul Davies posts here :

Although I’ll note that just because he is one prominent advocate for the idea of life coming from Mars to Earth via asterpoid impacts :

doesn’t make it untrue.
