the Creation “Museum”—we’ll be heading off […] We have 285 people
[…]
a lot of people […] want to get a photo of the dinosaur with a saddle. I should mention that last I heard, it was no longer there—it was out for maintenance. However, in an amusing coincidence, a van full of godless atheists on its way to Kentucky last night passed a trailer carrying… you guessed it. It’s an omen. […] the entire van erupted in laughter
He demands that you respect his ideas […] Go to his “museum” as you would to a cheap freak show, and laugh, laugh, laugh… and go home to publicly mock and heap scorn upon it. Irreverence is our answer, not dumb humble deference.

Personally, I’d want to tame and ride a Utahraptor, but to each their own.
At the risk of starting a war between the splitters and the lumpers, is the a Torosaurus, or a Triceratops? Of course, it could also be am Chasmosaurus/Pentaceratops (the jury is still out as to whether those are one or two genuses. Er, geni). Or maybe a Regaliceratops? There are quite a few Ceratopsids which present with three horns in lateral view, so we really need to be more specific.

When PZ rode a triceratops he was around three years younger than I am now. Saying that I’m getting my 2nd cataract surgery next week so might not be talking much here for a bit.

Had my second cataract surgery a few months ago.
Nice to be able to not only see, but see blue again! Before surgery, my left eye couldn’t see anything more than six inches away.
Now, I need reading glasses (+1.75) to read, distance is great. I did need to get the posterior lens capsule of the right eye lasered in 2015, after the surgery from 2009.
A bit of trivia. The IOL (IntraOcular Lens) is entirely due to one observant ophthalmic surgeon’s observation that his patients from Allied aircraft had no inflammation or rejection to the perspex blown into their eyes on Allied bombing missions. So, after the war, he studied using such plexiglass as replacement lenses. The initial patient he had observed eventually became his patient for an IOL many years later.
A certain old song springs to mind here ..
hearbale here – Signs song
I ride theropods so this doesn’t apply to me.
How many people know what he’s referring to? If you’ve been around here for a while you’ll know. :)
Saddle up a Ceratopsian today.. maybe even a Diabloceratops :

Abeit yeah, don’t quite fit the picture on the sign.. Hey does that mean any spoecies other thn trucertops can be ridden?
(Unfair that one but ..but Loophole!)
Oh FFS! I’d swear thjose letters were different when Ityped them. Also Ido swear generally but yeah..
What’s that person doing on your back?
People know better than to try to ride on my back. Therapods with a can give a rough ride.
I dunno. I mean if you are illegally riding a Triceratops, who’s gonna stop ya?
@ ^ indianajones : A T-Rex?
Then again T-Rex were famously revolutionary in their views and best songs so maybe not..
StevoR @ 9: If that were Marc Bolan in the picture, he’d be riding a white swan.
@3 bmatchick — PZ rides a triceratops.
