My two petite little granddaughters each took over two years to reach 20 lbs, but they are mighty in other ways.
Our new grandson (different Mom & Dad) is 7 weeks and weighs 13.8 lbs. We’ve told my daughter-in-law that she must be producing ultra-heavy cream! We’ve also offered to give them both back braces for Xmas.
He’s alert, happy and is already outgrowing 9 month sized onesies. My poor, tiny little daughter-in-law is going to have a terrible time lugging that child around.

While the kids give me an immense amount of joy, sometimes the thought of the world they will have to live in makes me despair more than anything.
