The reason I am not a physicist is that I never smoked enough weed
My excuse is that my science advisors in college never told me it was a prerequisite. I think they just assumed that everyone in college in the 1970s was going to be stoned.
No, not a prerequisite. Weed is just the gateway drug to Physics. Donchano? ?

The mildly deranged penguin points out that smoking weed is a poor substitute for mainlining cheese — which is something she advises against even ever trying, as you don’t get the full flavour. Instead, she suggests, try some smoked cheeses the usual way, perhaps with a sprinkling of weed marinated in olive oil with a touch of saffron. A robust vin rogue is recommended, or a bière trappiste.

I managed to get there without the aid of any mind-altering substances. I found physics did that well enough on its own once you reached quantum physics. I realise that physics has its range of kooks but really not any more than any other discipline.

I’ve smoked plenty of weed, but never made into Physics. Perhaps if I had started (smoking pot) when I was in college, but then the Southern Baptist college I attended frowned on that sort of thing in the late 60s. My dad could blow simple smoke rings, but I never figured it out.

Physics was my gateway drug to alcohol :-) . Never could stand the smell, taste, or the effects of weed. And the potheads I knew were in arts, maths or pharmacology.

Probably wasn’t spherical weed.

All I ever got out of weed was an interest in the philosophies of Albert King, Sam Rivers and Giuseppe Verdi. and the ability to go fishin’ and not worry about catching any fish

All weed ever did for me was to make me write really bad existential poetry and to figure out how to make pipes or bongs out of *anything*

Weed doesn’t help in the “arts,” either.
Never EVER try to deconstruct a Bach Fugue while stoned. It’s hard enough to examine while straight, and I personally guarantee is it NO fun stoned. ESPECIALLY when your example is for Form and Analysis class tomorrow morning. YIKES.
Dr. Myers, I am intrigued by the title above this post: “I never smoked enough weed.”
Does that mean you have smoked at least some weed? ;)
I happen to believe that using cannabis occasionally can be a good thing. It differs from person to person of course, and it should never be on a daily basis. My own experiences with it were quite positive.
The little video is amazing. Also reminds me of dolphins playing with bubble rings under water.
