This is perfect: someone has taken Scott Adams’ own words, as he tends to dump them on his blog, and pasted them onto his money-makin’ comic strip as MRA Dilbert. They sync beautifully. Somehow, the words of a pedantic jackhole with an ego problem fit into a dystopian comic strip about a workplace detached from reality as if they somehow emerged from the very same rather stupid brain. Who would have thought it?
Any guesses on how long it will be before Adams commands a winged army of screeching lawyers to descend upon it?

Well, if by “best strategy for dealing with each group” he means abandon any stereotypes you might have about that group, accord members of each group respect, and listen to what they have to say about themselves instead of assuming you are the expert about their lives, he isn’t wrong.
Of course, it’s interesting that he talks about ” a man’s best strategy for dealing with each group” without considering that that man might fit into one or two of those groups.

Holy fuck, I stopped following Scott Adams long ago (because of his egomania) but I completely missed of his misogynistic bend. O_O
I give it a 3 out of 5. Other than the one PZ used in the OP, the only other ones which really manage to combine “one character does all the speaking”, “speaking character is not meant to be sympathetic in the original strip”, and “selected quote doesn’t require you to know anything to realize why it’s really terrible” were the first 3 to be posted.

While Scott Adams is indeed an odious human being. I did want to point out one thing.
I’ve spent the last 15 years working in a company similar to the one(s) portrayed in Dilbert and he is, if anything, far closer to the truth about corporate engineering/manufacturing companies than to fantasy. Many is the time when I pointed out to my boss(Who looks suspiciously similar to Dilberts boss) that there was a Dilbert cartoon that exactly mimicked a situation in my own office.
Ah, but satire is a protected art. I have great hope that this is fair use. (Hoist by their own petard.)
erichoug: Dilbert has been a great comic, and I still own some which remains among my favorite.
But after so many years, I lost interest, or maybe the comic has become stale or Adams has become increasingly full of shit or maybe he became more overt about it, or most likely a mix of all these.
Things happen.
I’d love to be winged!
And if I could screech about constitutional law and social ethics, the screechy thing would be fine.
But could we please find me an army with better taste in clients?
