My father might have appreciated this

He was a mechanic, and his hobby was drawing and painting, so Renaissance paintings recreated with auto mechanics would have been perfect.

Although he’d probably be saying all these guys need a shave and a haircut.

“The Creation of Adam” is absolutely brilliant. He’s somehow even managed to evoke, without explicitly showing, the shape of the brain-cloud that God rides in in the original.

Right-wingers complaining about the “heretical marxist reinterpretation of Jesus” in three, two, one…

I also think that longish hair in a garage/metal workshop is perhaps not a very bright idea, but it can be fixed by wearing it in a proper tail or bun. Which you would not do for a photo of course. So yes I can sort of see why Myers Sr. would have objected.

I bet he would not have been a great fan of the general mess in that garage either (rags on the floor and such).

    The photos are lovely.

Those are fabulous, I look forward to showing those to Mister, an industrial mechanic with long hair.

A lot of mechanics have long hair. Lots of gorgeous hair in that field. Braids tend to be popular when working, along with ponytails. (Da husband does a standard ponytail).
