Almost all of them have been neglected and abandoned, and the FDA even sent a warning to the clinic. Join in the letter writing campaign asking the FDA to investigate the Burzynski Research Institute — it looks like responsible oversight has been overlooked, and maybe a little reminder would kick up some action.

Yes, “a warning institute to the clinic” has me intrigued. There is a long list of places to which I’d like to have a Warning Institute™ sent.
You know what PZ meant. He should have said a “warning association” or “warning establishment.” Unless, of course, he was referring to the dreaded “warning conservatory.” But I doubt even PZ would be that hard.

Well clearly Burzynski doesn’t, ‘cos if he did he would have completed his trials and published the results in the peer reviewed literature. If you’re so concerned about people dying of cancer (or even cancer treatment if you prefer) you shouldn’t be wasting time here. You should be trying to persuade Burzynski that he needs to share his treatment with other labs/clinics so more people can be “cured”.
He won’t even lose out financially, he’ll keep his patent and make many times what he is now from licensing. And those awful big pharma people will lose all their chemo-therapy income. And all those nasty oncologists will either have to get on board and buy from Burzynski or lose all their business.
Why don’t you (and Burzynski) want cancer sufferers to receive this “miracle cure”? What benefit does Burzynski get from abandoning trials and keeping such a “miracle cure” secret?
Hey norm, since Burzynski is such a great humanitarian, why doesn’t he offer his super-fantastic cancer cure at cost, instead of charging such huge amounts and making a nifty profit for himself?
No, it’s about demonstrating efficacy and preventing fraud. Scientists innovate every day. Actual scientists are itching to have their data and work peer reviewed and published, unlike quacks like Burzynski who operate in the shadows.
Imagine how much money this fraud would make if he could demonstrate that his approach actually worked.

If it were, Burzynski would be the last one targeted. His work is in no way effective. Indeed, it is the longest running single fraud since laetrile. You’d think he’d at least go for some originality eventually, but no, always the same old ineffective nonsense that’s been disproven so many times before.
