   Thank you PZ for that great talk you gave today! I never thought I’d see the day when I’d be able to hear you speak in person, and when you sat next to me at lunch I was completely speechless. I was the speechless guy sitting to your left.

   after the meeting ends at 6, any recommendations for an impromptu Pharyngula gathering? Shall me just meet in the ratskeller in the nearby student union?

   I second ratskeller. It is probably the best chance for an environment quiet enough for conversation.

    I watched every episode of Cosmos when it first aired back in the 1970s. He was validating what I believed, then it was time for Sunday school…
