Those are obviously fake lobsters. They’re not red like the lobsters I get in restaurants.

QI had trick question recently that concerned the state of a red lobster in a picture… it was alive. They also showed a picture of one that was such an electric blue that it looked photoshopped. Nature is wonderful.

Far be it from me to rain on the anti-Caturday spirit, but, PZ, you can’t have met any good kittens. Those little transparent bug-eyed critters are precious, but they don’t have kneading paws.

While snorkeling, I have held young Homarus americanus no longer than 3-4cm, and I can attest they are very cute.

While most pre-boiled lobsters are green, blue, yellow, white, black, orange and red lobsters have been caught. Here’s some pretty ones.
