The Daily Show talks about the absurd right wing and Fox News reaction to the protests against the killing of unarmed black people by the police who strain to find some way of discrediting the various forms it has taken.
In the process, Jon Stewart talks about Cleveland Browns football player Andrew Hawkins’s silent protest and the condescending reaction by the Cleveland police union head. In this clip they show bits of Hawkins explaining his actions and he comes across as someone who is thoughtful and measured, unlike the police union chief who belittled him.
