That was a very shallow conversation, but hey, any mention of science on TV is better than nothing. Freeman is a great guy, and I’m happy that his stuff gets some publicity.

The guy has narrated some interesting science programs too :] Great voice

Morgan Freeman still seems to be hung up on what may have caused the Big Bang, or what was the Universe before the Big Bang. I’m pretty sure he uttered a “what is the universe expanding into?” in there and “you have to have something to get something” and “you can’t get something from nothing”.
He seems to understand the basic physics, and he accepts or believes that our universe exists inside a singularity. Just can’t seem to lose the concept of causation.
I love his show, and I catch it as often as I can, but sometimes he does go into woo-woo land, or, I feel, doesn’t come down hard enough on squishy theology.
