    I saw a clip recently where Romney was using the Frank Lundtz approved “soon-to-haves” talking point to attack Obama.

    While watching that clip I was reminded of something John Steinbeck wrote:

    Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.
