Epstein had some weird and creepy friends

The Epstein birthday book has been released, and you can read it all for yourself. The content is not very interesting, to be honest–lots of heavily redacted photos of Child Epstein, Epstein frolicking with women/girls, sloppy greetings from people who ought to have known better, all kinds of innuendo. Voidzilla summarizes it all.

One thing caught my eye: one of the birthday greeters was Stuart Pivar, the crackpot pseudoscientist who threatened to sue me for fifteen million dollars. All kinds of people were sucking up to Epstein, and I don’t quite understand why…it was the appeal of money and a guy who proudly flaunted his depravity, I guess.

We need to do a GoFundMe to pay for a TV ad on Fox news, showing the sleazy drawing and reading the text Trump sent to a sexual criminal.
The Trump voters must not be allowed to say “we did not know”.

Embarrassing for Lee Smolin’s graduate students that they unintentionally end up featured in Epsteins gross book, since he included a lab group photo.

I randomly glanced through the first pdf, was surprised the first page I landed on was about fitness landscapes, quasispecies and the replicator equation, something I know… its a collage from Martin Novak.

Trump may be terrified, though. He seems to be poking around to see if and how he can interfere with next year’s elections.

Pretty sure it was the 13 year olds.

This might be true, but I don’t at this point think that MAGA will revolt against the dear leader because of any Epstein revelations anymore. Pizzagate ran out of enthusiasm.

it would be hilarious if the redistricting shenanigans resulted in net losses of GOP seats in the House – not because of a ‘revolt’ but because of incompetence / poor planning (for example: making maps that don’t have the advantages they think they do, like that voted for Trump in Texas/2024 because of Catholic/Latino/Conservative demographics but will not vote for whatever 2026 house shill because of ICE gestapo tactics/optics) here’s to hoping

rorschach @#6 — You may be right, of course, but I would assume there are different levels of commitment to the MAGA phenomena. The Epstein saga has apparently already eroded some of his base. The very fact that anything is coming out from the Republican controlled House is evidence that his position isn’t perfectly secure short of going to extremes. I’m confident he is considering going to extremes, particularly if he feels threatened enough. He has no self control.

Trump wrote a scene with dialogue and an introduction.
    This can be played.
    It should be played.
    While you can.

I don’t think so because there’s not that many pedos around in the general; human population. I don’t think so anyhow. Most people detest child molesters although they are obvs a thing. I also doubt Epstein was offering 13 year olds to that many people because of that – only to his (vomits) “special” friends like Trump that he knew were like him in that particualr regard.

Those all kinds, aside from the usual politicians & possibly war criminals, mostly consists of scientists, skeptic bros & New Atheists, including Lawrence Krauss, & Stephen Pinker. The fact that a bunch of these science bros, who used to “call out” priests for their sexual offenses, are guilty of sex offenses themselves & associated with Epstein, is just astonishing in their hypocrisy.

The priests are still assholes, though

Haven’t you heard? “Let me tell you about the very rich. They are different from you and me.”

Counterpoint: look into Pitcairn Island. Desperately poor and isolated, a tiny population under 50 people, and it’s seething with rape and pedophilia, making me wonder what horrors lurked in prehistoric communities.
