He’s blundering about, wailing and whining, because he used a clip from another YouTuber without attribution, and she wrote him asking for a link or a mention, as she deserves, and he had a temper tantrum. Instead of just adding an acknowledgment for her contribution, he made a whole ‘nother video which is entirely about belittling and abusing her. No surprise there, I guess.
So what was the good thing? He made me aware of this YouTube channel, Draw Curiosity, which is mostly science stuff, and it’s excellent! I’ve subscribed, and maybe if more of us do, ol’ Phil may have accomplished one worthwhile thing with his ranty, petty noise machine.
Going by the comments on this video, a good number of those subbed to Tasshole think he’s seriously out of line, and aren’t supporting him on this one. Several of them ended up subbing to Draw Curiosity. (It’s a fun channel!)
I applaud you, good sir!
How dare a woman ask Thunderf00t to change in any way, shape or form! Who does she think she is?
Social regressive uses another person’s work, other person requests attribution. Social regressive gets mad. Social regressive spews a primate dominance display.
That’s what a theif looks like. Thunderfoot is a theif. He is a theif that mocks people he steals from when they ask for attribution, a form of social respect. So like the way Trump treats people he hires and contracts.
It probably doesn’t hurt that the opening animation has a cuttlefish (with accurately W-shaped pupil, even).
(The opening animation for Draw Curiosity, of course)
Nah, Brony, thieves have more honor and higher standards than that.
@Ogvorbis #3:
I know you’re being sarcastic, but here’s a serious response: A human being.
Sorry, just thought that needed to be said. Thank you.
methuseus:
Thank you. I had no idea that women were human beings. So I guess it did need to be said.
(THIS ^ IS ALSO SARCASM!)
I really thought that, given what has happened since Rebecca Watson’s horrific statement, “Guys, don’t do that,” the readers of this blog would understand the background and humour behind what I wrote. I guess I was wrong. Sorry.
Text has no body language or intonation. Most of us get sarcasm bit many readers dont. Better not to use it in serious discussion.
Dan Dare:
Then I guess, according to you, I should never comment again on any political or social policy thread on the internet. Okay.
Subscribed. She makes really fun short sciencey videos.
For the curious, Blunderfool has brought to Inés Dawson approximately 700 subscribers above what she would normaly get. -source-
