The prophet who couldn’t shoot straight

Read about the real goings-on at the Bundy Ranch. Racism is just one of the lunacies on parade. GOOGLE DOCTORS THAT REMOVE MICROCHIPS. The summary:

Welfare negroes, the United Nations, sexually devious lawyers, satan, a Chinese solar farm, microchips, secret-agent NPS, a Muslim-Kenyan president, hippies, illegals. Take your pick.

Also revealing, and very Mormon: Bundy cast himself as a divinely inspired prophet of god who was delivering instructions to his people, instructing them in the prophecies they were supposed to follow, and chastising them for failing.

He goes on to explain that, although they managed to deter the BLM, they failed to do it “within one hour,” as the revelation had prophesied. So when an hour passes, he decides to get in his bulldozer and march on the BLM himself. The dozer gets stuck in the mud and he receives another revelation.

“It come to my mind real plain — the good Lord said, ‘Bundy, it’s not your job, it’s THEIR job.’ So we come back over here and heard that they had brought some cattle back. So I want you to understand,” addressing the crowd, “This is not my job, it’s YOUR job.

It’s a real comic opera. It’s too bad these kinds of clowns have successfully inserted themselves into American politics.

    I think it’s OK. He’s imploding quite beautifully, which means he’s more or less trolling the right-wing to see who’s nuts enough to support him. He’ll be an embarrassment around their necks forever. Someone needs to make sure he can afford to go to the RNC next election.

    Bundy is on the verge of becoming a star. <b.This means Big Money!!! Huge amounts of money. Oceans of money.

    There is a lot of money to be made as a thief, racist, lying, deluded, cuckoo hater.

    EVIDENCE:

    1. Glenn Beck. In a few short years after Fox News terminated him, he has made $100 million with his websites etc.

    2. Sarah Palin. Coming up with a word salad now and then has been quite profitable.

    3. Bristol Palin. Spending 15 minutes in the back of a car with some guy she didn’t know very well has provided her with a kid and a nice living.

    4. Pat Robertson. A billionaire. AFAICT, Robertson is a Zombie and they occasionally inject him with Reanimation Serum, point him in some direction, and hope he doesn’t say something really stupid.

    5. Ann Coulter, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, everyone at Fox NonNews.

    6. This list could go on for pages and pages.

    I feel a little sorry for Bundy, in a weird way.

    Sorry Trebuchet. You are almost certainly a normal person making an honest living somehow who means well. And a year from now Bundy will be able to buy and sell you many times over.

    2. They already have a pope in SLC, the chief Prophet, Seer, and Revelator who talks with god and jesus all the time.

    3. Quite often, other Mormons discover how easy it is to become a Prophet, Seer, and Revelator and talk to god and jesus. The fact is, anyone can do it!!! It’s easy.

    AFAWK, they are all making it up as they go along. Even if some of them have been brainwashed to believe it.

    4. The result has been a huge number of schisms within the Mormon church. There are at least a hundred splits. Most of them are really ugly small polygamist cults like the FLDS. Since the Mormon popes conflict with each other, there have been wars between them in the late 20th century that killed dozens of people.

    Speaking of prophecies, I’m getting one now. The cat wants in, open the door. Oh, it is just Bast again, the Egyptian cat goddess.

Joe Smith even had to clarify once by saying that he had received a revelation that only he was allowed to receive revelations.

    Interesting to see Cliven Bundy blaming his followers, not himself, when any of his prophecies or revelations fall short.

    You’re quite right about Bundy. As for making an honest living, I’m in the “taker” class now, living on pension and Social Security. And on Medicare, to boot. I have a hard time understanding why so many people like me love people like Bundy.

When characters like Joe the Plumber, Phil Robertson, George Zimmerman, Ted Nugent, Sarah Palin and now Bundy are lifted out of obscurity and held up as icons of conservative martyrdom, things are seriously fucked up. We’ll Ted Nugent wasn’t exactly obscure, but he has been propelled from a has been mediocre heavy metal star to superstardom by right wing radio and Faux News.

    Cliven Bundy’s racist comments about “the Negro” actually express concepts that are mainstream within the Republican and/or conservative movements. Bundy just failed to use the correct euphemisms. He wasn’t careful enough.

    Walter Williams, a conservative economist at George Mason University, who told the Wall Street Journal that “The welfare state has done to black Americans what slavery couldn’t do … that is to destroy the black family.” Likewise, there’s Star Parker—a frequent speaker at conservative gatherings like CPAC and the Values Voter Summit—whose Uncle Sam’s Plantation argues the same.

    As a Republican candidate for lieutenant governor in Virginia, E.W. Jackson told his supporters that “slavery did not destroy the black family … government did that,” and last year, FreedomWorks—a Tea Party group—released a documentary called Runaway Slave, which details the “Democratic plantation” of welfare and entitlement benefits, used to lure African-Americans away from the Republican Party. And key to the narrative is the idea that these benefits ruined black families, succeeding where slavery failed.

    Glad to see it explained and that it was also the reason the the GOP has done so poorly with regards to the “black vote” and that it has nothing to do with the “southern strategy” of supporting the racists fight against the liberal democrats.

    It’s not a laughing matter! They were breaking FEDERAL LAW by entering the country illegally! They weren’t being denied freedom! They were being arrested for illegally entering the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! Local police have to enforce our FEDERAL borders! I call on all militia members of the United States to help our local police enforce our FEDERAL borders and FEDERAL laws by keeping illegal immigrants on the right side of our FEDERAL borders!

    It just goes to show that the Right isn’t opposed “welfare queens” per se, they’re more so opposed allocating welfare to people who will upset their balance of power. Still, a twisted and racist paternalism links Cliven Bundy’s slavery rant with Sterling’s talk about his players. “I give them food, and clothes, and cars, and houses” is only a few bad leaps of logic away from slavery being good for black people because it gave them “homes with their chickens and their gardens and their children around them, and their man having something to do.” In both cases, black people are simple, passive, and not entirely capable of caring for themselves. They should be grateful for the good will of the men who exploit their labor and accept their position at the bottom of society, because they’re not meant for more than that. […]
