First that springs to mind: I’m enjoying comments by Nepenthe.

… and the return of rutee.

    Congratulations, Feralboy!

I’ve been liking Julian’s comments a lot, and I’m appreciative of Pelamun’s erudite contributions and patience in teaching. But I have to agree with SGBM: Rutee has been kicking serious ass since she returned, and she doesn’t appear to have been awarded a Molly yet.

    Congratulations feralboy12.
if rutee doesn’t have one, that’s my vote.

    Congratulations Feralboy12!

Nominating Ms. Daisy Cutter, who has been doing a fair amount of heavy lifting the last couple of months.

I will not deny that I have greatly desired this.
I probably won’t attach the OM to my ‘nym here, since I use it at the other freethought blogs, but I will be making a bunch of little OM tags and sewing them into my underwear.
Seriously, though, I am proud of this–as a music school dropout whose formal science education pretty much ended in the eighth grade when I shorted out the lab with a pair of tweezers, to be able to hang out here with real scientists, teachers, grad students etc. without embarrassing myself tells me that my self-education process might be working.
    Thanks.

Congrats to feralboy12! Well-deserved indeed. For Feb I feel unable to decide between Ms. Daisy Cutter and pelamun, so I’ll nominate both.

    Too many worthies.

I agree with Ms. Daisy Cutter, but I’m also attached to others.

I OM Nom’d Giliell & Rey Fox last month, but then later came across some good work by Anri. I won’t split my vote 4 ways. I’d rather jump on the Daisy Cutter bandwagon: not the only worthy one, but a very worthy one.

I hope you all know how much I appreciate you & I’ll be back next month with ongoing kind words for the 3 I’m currently pushing forward. In the meantime, Daisy Cutter is a great OM Nom, and I’m happy to throw some momentum her way… Frankly, just seeing her name on a comment is enough to make me take notice. Don’t know why I didn’t think to nominate her first…

    Feralboy! Woo hoo!

Anyway, I’m gonna join in with everyone else and throw in for Ms Daisy Cutter. I don’t always agree with her, but she’s intelligent and funny as hell* and I totally respect that.

*She came up with shit begonias, yeah?

Is there a way to withdraw a Molly nomination?
    just hypothetically

Did I not say Conga Rats? Please, feralboy12, Accept both apologies and felicitations.

chigau, since Ms Meyers counts the votes by hand, I’m sure that a note in this thread would suffice…

I would like to add my vote for rutee too, for unswerving, thought-provoking insight backed up with a fair amount of bristling indignation.

(I also wanted to vote for Louis for making me laugh so much this month, but I see they have already been honoured. Much deserved.)

    Congratulations to feralboy12.

I use the OM honorific throughout FtB. I’m that vain. :-þ

As a loyal member of the echo chamber, I’ll join the group think in voting for Ms. Daisy Cutter. pelamun is also worthy of mollification.

I’m voting for Azkyroth again. You’d think I’d remember the spelling by now, and you’d be wrong.

I will not deny that I have greatly desired this.

Slightly botched LOTR quotes feralboy? Or have I watched the movies too much?

  26. 26
    John Morales

    Due grats to Feralboy12!

I’ll nominate Azkyroth this time around.

    (I’ll second Pelamun, too)

PS I was gonna nominate Feralboy12, too — but events have made that moot.

(Still, why waste a noted link, eh? ;) )

    Chigau – D’oh!!

Did I really do that? Sigh. I do know better. It’s been too long for me to verify if it really was a typo or if I got myself confused somehow, but let’s just say it was definitely a typo.

    Yes, definitely…
