You missed it!

Too late! My talk is all over.

There is one writeup already, there were people in the audience with cameras so something will appear on youtube soon, and the convention had professional videographers present, so maybe you’ll see it sometime soon. Or you could invite me out to whereever you are to give it again.

You could drive 20 minutes and give it to me tonight, I have a nice bottle of wine chilling here at home and I’m still stuck on the computer writing technical documentation. ;D

So PZ is the one with the purple scarf. Who are the other three guys? Is Coyne the one in yellow? Or is that Larry Moran?

I attend the DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, WA. There are biology classes here, but they’re mostly for anatomical reference purposes for art students. Still, if you go where biology brings you, it would sure be fun to have an entirely-non-video-game-related speaker come to my college.

Comic books are wrong. The creationists are wronger.

At least comic books admit that they deal in fiction. That gives them a legitimate claim on the suspension of disbelief that creationists abuse on a daily basis.

Not up on Ninja Turtles but I’m wondering why bipedal talking turtles needs masks? It’s not like they are common in the first place but the need to further hide their identity with a mask? I’m begining to think that TMNTs aren’t real…

If we ever get tired of the “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” metaphor, we should try this one.

    Hm.

    Middle-Aged Mutant Hero/Ninja/Gnu Atheists?

Come to Boston! I don’t have a venue for you, but you can stand next to the crazy guy in the Common who’s always shouting about the Bible and have a bit of a contest. I’m pretty sure you’d win.

Uh, turtles? The masks are for our benefit since otherwise we would not be able to tell them apart.
