I know it makes for some great satirical comedy, but the persistence of the ‘slippery slope to bestiality’ argument is one of the more venal distancing tactics you’re likely to encounter.
They’re basically saying, “there are straight humans, and there are goats … and then there are homosexual humans; who aren’t quite goats but neither are they human.”
It’s quite offensive. And quite deliberately meant to be so. “They’re just animals.” Another way to attempt to relegate a group of people to underclass status.
