Digital Cuttlefish had to remind me that FtB has been running for about a year. And in that brief span we have drawn out so much venom and hatred…I’m rather proud. Success!

Should have let us know earlier, so the grogcake would be “ripe”.

We haven’t been public for a whole year yet, so you still have time to hang bunting and get some balloons and cake and ice cream and booze.

I think it was Mark Twain who said that one’s success as an author is measured by the number of enemies you acquire. Or maybe I made that up. In any case, congratulations and here’s to both many more years and enemies.

Just hatred and venom? What about all that vitriol? You just gonna ignore that?

And yet you haven’t resolved all contentious social and political issues, so the FtB approach is a failure.

Now that FtB is a going concern, is there any chance the comments on SB Pharyngula will become unborked?

Congratulations on your first anniversary, FtB!
I’m curious about your time-travel technology though, which apparently allows many new commentors to have been reading FtB going back 2 or 3 years now. Why have you been allowing these people to read you for all that extra time? Is keeping this technology super-seekrit part of your evil plan for taking over the cosmos?
