Zoooom! He’s off again!

I just returned from Washington DC yesterday, and early tomorrow morning I have to fly off for the IHEU General Assembly and to speak at the Humanism Romania conference. The theme is “Education, Science, and Human Rights” — I might be able to say a few words about that.

I don’t think I’ve fully recuperated from the last trip, though, so I’m going to be thoroughly worn out by this one. Blogging may be a little intermittent for a while, especially since I think my flights and layovers total about 13 hours each way. And I’m plunging into the lab as soon as I get back, too.

Look at it this way: You’re doing things that are useful to society (your job and your atheist/pro-reason “activism”), and they are also things that you love doing.

That, and you get to travel. Though maybe the trips themselves are the downside?

Chris Clarke, step up your game! Three posts a day would be fine – and a few can even be about the desert.

What were the words of Bokonon?
“Unusual travel suggestions are dancing lessons from God”, I think.

    so,most of it.

I thought the poopy overlord never slept? (Keep up the good work, I never trust these posts, because PZ always manages to blog in the worst of circumstances.)

    Lies. All lies!

Is it okay for the kittehs to come out and play now?

Only one way to find out.

    (FOR SCIENCE!)

I cannot fathom what you must spend on carbon offsets in a year.

You wouldn’t happen to have any numbers ready, like on how much carbon is burnt to hurl a PZ across an ocean vs. to heat his home for a day in a Minnesota winter?

Yep. You’ll note that Cthulhu has wings, you know. It’s just that most people think that they’re vestigial. Just another horrible surprise that everyone will get when the time is right.

Yeah, theignored, but are these alleged “wings” powered by fossil fuels?
’cause that’s what md is commenting about.
