Still alive

Hey, gang! I haven’t forgotten the blog! I’m just in all these strange exciting places meeting strange new people and have been too busy to pay much attention to this internet thingie for a bit. I just left Germany — here I am with Taslima, Tanya Smith, and Rebecca Watson — and am now wandering about Iceland.

You’ll have to forgive me if I’m finding the real world a bit more fun than the blog for now. Don’t worry, I’ll be back in Morris next Monday, and everything will be reversed then.

In the background of the picture we can see Paul Schulz (left – philosopher, ex-theologian and founder of the German ATHEODOC Internet portal) discussing with Carsten Frerk (right). Carsten Frerk is the best German expert of the financial relationships between the German state and the two de-facto German state churches (catholic and protestant church).

In fact it was hard not to shoot a picture at the convention in Cologne without have some international or national atheist celebrities in the background.

PZ, it was nice meeting you there – I was the one offering you an Internet connection.

Please, won’t someone think of the old white men?

…and Köln is an old Roman colony where Cristianity arrived early, so the Opus Dei and Rosicrucians must be hiding somewhere.

You’re doing rather well at keeping up your blog considering that you’re on a trip. Enjoy. I start each day off by visiting yours and several other blogs. I’m an addict!

What a coincidence: Rebecca’s sniny hair color fits right in with the FTB theme almost like she dyed it in FTB-blue.
