Can you post your own nude pics here .. specially while sucking, licking, or fucking, would love to see, I also don’t mind nudity will post my dick pics in return for you

  2. fork says

Huhwhat? Why do you think someone not finding nudity offensive = wanting everyone to see nekked pictures of themselves? That makes no sense.

  3. says

Among the nudist (or naturist) community there is a saying, “Nude is not lewd.” However, that’s not to say that some asshole won’t try to convert nude directly to lewd (which is ultimately what gives nude a bad reputation). In the end though, to quote a great philosopher from Wendy’s, “Parts is parts.” Once you’ve seen one of each kind, you pretty well know what they look like. Beyond that, it’s just the desperate confusing the two.

I think in this instance Sean is simply being an offensive ass for the sake of being an offensive ass toward Taslima.

Nudity has never been a taboo but… there’s an initial reaction on my part, culturally ingrained, I do not want to see my close family nude (excepting obviously my own young children or spouse). It’s not something I will ever get over. Maybe in another life I’d have done. I’d like to think were it a necessity I’d find the gumption to do what needs be done for a loved one. Thankfully it’s not a situation I’m confronted with yet.

I thought at first glance the cartoon refers to the Islamic prohibition against sodomy, and how the prayer position resembles someone crouching for sex. Then I realized the cartoonist is complying with the injunction against portraying Mohammed….yikes!!
I heard a woman Muslim “explain” in a video today that supposedly women can’t pray with men not because women are less valuable than men, or unclean in some way, but because “our prayer is very physical, and if you watch, you have to prostrate yourself with your bum in the air”. It really had never occurred to me that anyone would worry about the possibility of people becoming aroused or thinking of sex during mixed prayer sessions, but they do worry, apparently. Having that in my mind influenced my first interpretation of the cartoon – that and the dripping penis….

Thanks, CWilson. This is the first and only joke I found hilarious after needing to have it explained to me.

Wow Sean Mark, way to go with the first sexist comment. Of course, as soon as a woman mentions nudity (or any evidence of independent/mature sexuality) you assume she’s a sexually-available object to fulfil your desires and glorify your penis.

I think the star in the last cartoon is wonderful metaphor for “special” people like you.

@5. No One :“I don’t think anyone has “got” the cartoon yet.”

That we know of through the comments. The naked Mullah thinks our sun shines out his anus and his flatulence is starlight yet he is a disgusting fool born without clothes like us all.

@1.Seann Mark : Having two first names isn’t an excuse to be a jackass, dude.

Nudity and sexuality are two very separate things and you are NOT entitled to demand this blogger or anyone else reveals anything intimate at all to you.

Also, how about you grow up and think better? I’m hoping you are a lot better person than you appear to be here.

  7. Jackie, Ms. Paper if ya nasty says

Sean, Taslima saying she isn’t off put by human bodies is not a call for you to come tell everyone what you’d like to fap to. Her feelings about the human body have nothing at all to do with you or what you want. Try to get that into your head. Your drive by harassment isn’t funny. It’s pathetic. You know your request won’t get you pics so my guess is that you’re trying to embarrass and intimidate a woman for daring to say she isn’t bothered by nudity. How positively creepy.

  8. says

I actually interpreted the cartoon differently. I took it as saying that since you supposedly cannot reproduce the image of Mohammed, what they did was bleep out the “true” image of Mohammad from that picture.

Male female sex is natural and wonderful see @osho only abhrahamics relegion make sex dirty and blame women . Before Islamic and xian invasions of India was like that. Cultural suppression has leaf to deviant rampant porno in west I am a victim. BUT Hussain painting I find offensive we worship women and wrote Kama sutra have Tantra as well

    Taslima,

    Preaching is easy than doing.

Only the nudists can claim that they do not find nudity offensive as they live what they say.

If you post your nude pics online and still say that you are not offended than it will be a genuine statement,

Why people wear clothes has genuine reasons like continuance of human population, hygiene, social mental health, development, progress, etc.

Clothes is the major factor for the development of human beings.
Females hide their sagging boobs and attract men by wearing clothes which falsely show their boobs as not sagging and enjoy sex with them. Because of clothes females can roam around in society and do her daily work even when she is menstruating or else no one will even stand around her with blood, flesh, etc dripping between her legs.

You have put nude Hindu goddess’s pic even though Hindus never troubled you!

What stopped you from putting the nude photo of Mohammad? even though Muslims persecuted you!

Put nude pics of Gods of all other religions also why only choose Hindu goddess?

Is it so that you get offended by nude pics of Mohammad and other religion deities?

      >>Only the nudists can claim that they do not find nudity offensive as they live what they say.

      Really?
I don’t think it offensive that women are driving cars, even in hot climate, say Saudi Arabia.
According to your standards, Sheha, and paraphrasing your sentence,
“Only the car driving women in Saudi Arabia can claim to find car driving not offensive as they live what they say.”

To make myself unmistakably clear: in most cases the “offence” lies exclusively in the eye of the beholder.

      >>Why people wear clothes has genuine reasons like continuance of human population, hygiene, social mental
      >>health, development, progress, etc.
      >>Clothes is the major factor for the development of human beings.

No, unfortunately for you, that’s not true, either.
The first pictures in Taslima’s posting above can serve as a valid example — quite obviously clothing had nothing at all to do with “continuance of human population, hygiene, social mental health, development, progress, etc.” in ancient Greece, for example.

You might remember: most principles in the Declaration of Human Rights are definitely NOT based on the philosophy of cultures where people are obsessed with clothing, but on the writings of ancient Greeks.
Who were not seldom running around stark naked.

      >>What stopped you from putting the nude photo of Mohammad? even though Muslims persecuted you!

As far as I can see, there IS a drawing of “Mo”.
It’s the last one in the row, with the star on the butt.
It might have escaped your notice as YOU aren’t taking offence by it — which might serve as an example for the fact I mentioned above:
in most cases the “offence” lies exclusively in the eye of the beholder.

Not finding something offensive does not imply that one has to do it to be taken seriously. I am not offended by Mixed Martial Arts competitions, but I have no personal desire to participate in one. I’m not offended by the consumption of certain drugs, but that doesn’t mean that I have to do them to be taken seriously. Can’t a person promote the freedom of *other people*?

On clothes, I actually like wearing clothes because I find picking unique, fashionable things to wear to be kind of fun and creative, and I enjoy shopping at secondhand stores. Plus, clothes have pockets, and if I didn’t wear clothes, where would I put my phone?

Taslima, This is my first message on your blog. I wanted to say something because I just saw on Twitter that you spent time with Inna Shevshenko. I love Femen. I love their boldness and their bravery and their willingness to be on the front lines in important protests.
I don’t think the way they use their own nude bodies for protest is very well understood over here in North America, which is why I am so happy when I see you and Maryam Namazie supporting them.

  12. Serene says

Just to say, I would put money on ‘Sean Mark’ being a bot. My own experience has been bots like this will follow quickly after any post with keywords like ‘nudity’. I think the anger directed at it might be better elsewhere…

    • says

Serene, “Sean Mark” may well be a bot, but the point of my comment was not to try to change his(?) mind by disputing his statements. Even if he were a real human being, I don’t think he’d be worth arguing with. But I saw the post when his was the first and only comment, and I think that Taslima deserves better from those, like me, who enjoy the work she gives us for free, than to have comments like that allowed to remain un-countered by supportive messages. Putting oneself out in public, particularly on controversial topics, is a difficult job that attracts a lot of nasty, negative feedback. Those of us who want the people whose work we like to continue producing that work should do our best to make sure it’s rewarding for them to do so. Allowing the negativity to go un-challenged, or at least un-balanced by positivity, would be counterproductive to this.

  13. says

As a nudist for 30 years, I have to say that I find the post ridiculous and most of the comments way off target. How would y’all react if I proclaimed, “I do not find clothing offensive”? Or, “I do not find hamburgers offensive”?

How about, “I do not find fresh air offensive”?

Who cares what any of us do or don’t find ‘offensive’? Why is ‘being offended” even worthy of mention? In the absence of tangible, demonstrable, physical harm, why is it any of our damn business what others do?.

If we truly believe in liberty, don’t we all have the obligation to toughen up, calm down, and stop having emotional hissy fits? Or, if we must have such childish fits, aren’t we at least obligated to keep them to ourselves, to STFU?

  14. says

SMMDA says, ” On clothes, I actually like wearing clothes because I find picking unique, fashionable things to wear to be kind of fun and creative, and I enjoy shopping at secondhand stores.”

That’s fine, but you’ve offered no reason to ALWAYS wear clothes in the presence of others..

“Plus, clothes have pockets, and if I didn’t wear clothes, where would I put my phone?”

Same place as your wallet and your car keys: in your purse or fanny pack.

I am a progressive believer. I believe it’s a private matter and it doesn’t really bother me if someone makes fun of my God. But on humanitarian grounds, why step on someone’s toes to make a point? Freedom of speech I am all for. But even if I was an atheist, I would be polite and considerate enough not to ridicule something that is close to the heart of my fellow human beings. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, you know. What makes me different from the fanatics otherwise? If someone thinks religion is a hoax, so be it. I respect that and do not mock it. But if someone finds something sacred, I respect that too.
