Just asking questions


It is a common tactic of people who like to spread false information but seek to avoid taking responsibility for their statements to disingenuously say they are ‘just asking questions’.

    I teach science at a school run by a church. Officially we are independent, but many want it to be as religious as possible. Sometimes I make subtle comments about religion which are not unlike JAQing off -- I just want to plant seeds of doubt in their little heads without appeal anti-religion. Many of them don’t seem to recognize that evolution and creationism are mutually exclusive.

    Oh, they do. They just change the meaning of “evolution”. Ken Ham eg is totally OK with hyper-accelerated evolution within a kind after the end of the Great Flood.

    Jesusmythologists also like asking questions as I know from experience. A Dutch proverb goes: one idiot can ask more questions than ten wise (wo)men can answer.
