Were you wondering what the nutty former Minnesota congresswoman and onetime contender for the Republican presidential nomination was up to these days? Me neither. After deciding not to seek re-election in 2018 where she faced a good chance of losing, she faded away. Or so I hoped. But there she is in the news again spouting one of her trademark nutty theories, and this one is a real doozy.

The Minnesota Republican appeared on televangelist Kenneth Copeland’s “The Victory Channel,” where she claimed Biden and street protesters intended to destroy the economy and impose a global communist government, reported Right Wing Watch.

“Antifa is, if you go to their website, their materials, they are directly traceable to the Communist Party because their goal is the overthrow of the United States government and to bring communism into America,” Bachmann said. “Just like Black Lives Matter, this is not a new movement, either. On their website, these are transgender Marxists, transgender Black Marxists who are seeking the overthrow of the United States and the dissolution of the traditional family.”

Yes, you heard that right. Black transgender Marxists, and we know there are many millions of them out there in the shadows just waiting for the right moment to pounce, are seeking to destroy the country by introducing a digital currency that will lead to communism. Or something like that. I couldn’t quite make it out.

Who knew? It”s lucky for us that the ever-vigilant Bachmann is on the case, looking out on our behalf.
