It was 75 years ago today over 150,000 allied debaters stormed the beaches at Normandy and defeated the Nazis with reasoned arguments (while respecting their right to their opinions).

My dad was a D Day Dodger. He’d been fighting long and hard in Italy and continued after D Day. He was one of the first Canadian soldiers into Holland, and one of the last to leave. I remember the D Day Dodgers as well as those who took the beaches, by crying. I cry for them all, those in Italy and in the Normandy and those fighting everywhere else on this pitiless planet, sent to die because of the twisted egoes of evil men.
