Donald Trump’s personal lawyer has said that that he has no respect for Trump accuser, the actress Stormy Daniels.
“I respect women – beautiful women and women with value – but a woman who sells her body for sexual exploitation I don’t respect,” said Rudy Giuliani.
“Someone who sells his or her body for money has no good name,” he added.
A lawyer for actress Stormy Daniels, who is suing Mr Trump for defamation, called Mr Giuliani “an absolute pig”.
Speaking at an investment conference in Tel Aviv, Israel, Mr Giuliani told a panellist on Wednesday: “I’m sorry I don’t respect a porn star the way I respect a career woman or a woman of substance or a woman who has great respect for herself as a woman and as a person and isn’t going to sell her body for sexual exploitation.”
“I mean, she has no reputation,” added the former New York mayor. “If you’re going to sell your body for money, you just don’t have a reputation. I may be old fashioned.”
Mr Giuliani continued: “I know Donald Trump, and look at his three wives – beautiful women, classy women, women of great substance.
“Stormy Daniels?” He made a face and shook his head.
Nearly all of us sell (or more properly rent) our bodies to others to make a living. For some of us, that part of the body is mostly the brain. Why is renting any other part of the body any more disreputable? What Daniels did for a living is no more disreputable than what I did for a living.
From all that I have seen, Daniels is a person of far more integrity than Giuliani, a political hack who grovels to those in power in the hope of making a quick buck, can ever hope to be. Calling him a ‘pig’ is an insult to pigs, actually.

I often wonder if the reason capitalists look down on sex workers is because they can’t control their means of production. Well, they try to, anyway, but otherwise they lack a moral argument.

They despise them. The rich, old, fat and lustful have no compunction about using sex workers, but although reprehensible they are not stupid. They know no young women would accede to their depravities if money wasn’t involved. They hate that, but must slake their lusts, so they pay “exorbitant” amounts that men of decent character needn’t. Not only does having to pay when others don’t rile them, they recognise (correctly) that having to do it ranks them lower than the low. They are furious at how unfair it all is.
This guys is an idiot. My apologies to all idiots. Politicians are the biggest sex workers there are. They whore their body out to the highest bidders on a daily basis. They may not be having actual sexual contact, but they are fucking as many people as they can, just as quickly and as often as they can. Hypocrites. (pardon the language).
I lived in NYC during Rudy’s years, and he had at least one adulterous relationship during that time. He got a government job for one of the women he was involved with. Pure sleeze (with apologies to the only somewhat sleezy people).
