Speaking at the PA Atheist conference

I have been invited to be one of the speakers at the Pennsylvania state Atheist/Humanist Conference to be held in Pittsburgh from Friday, August 29 to Sunday, August 31 which also happens to be the Labor Day weekend with Monday as a holiday. It looks like it will be a good meeting and I hope that readers of this blog will try to attend and if they do, please introduce yourself to me.

You can learn more about the conference here. There is an interesting mix of well-known speakers and there is also entertainment. Since I don’t get out much, I have not met a single one of the speakers with the exception of John Loftus and I look forward to seeing them in person giving talks.

I am not much of a schmoozer and don’t drink alcohol so I am not sure that I will be part of the bar scene in the evenings but will make a real effort to get out of my shell and mingle with the others, all for the cause of atheism!
