1. Martin, heading for geezerhood says

The would if they could. But they can’t so they don’t.

Sometimes it seems that my little fluffy bastard would sooner rip my throat out than let me pet him.

(it’s a matter of size…if 40kg Cougar pets were as common as Dobermans, I’m sure they’d be a lot more maiming and killing).

  2. Trebuchet says

I’ve had a catte maul me to the point of dripping blood, followed by massive infection of my arm. He was a sweet little guy but had just been in a cat fight and I stupidly tried to pick him up when he was in a blind rage. If they were as big as pit bulls they’d be pretty dangerous.

  3. Trebuchet says

It occurred to me in the middle of the night that while domestic dogs are descended from the wolf, a large predator, domestic cattes come from one of the smallest members of the felidae. Not too many domestic lions, tigers, cougars, or even bobcats to be seen.

  4. Chebag says

It is no coincidence that while we have ginormous fukken dogs, there is a narrow range of permissible domestic cats. These “savannah” cat breeding dumbfucks are gonna ruin us all…

  5. Alverant says

Seriously, cats weren’t bred to hunt. You’re not going to find the feline version of a poodle or pit bull or doberman. or dachshund or German Shepard.
