    Well, that’s interesting. I’d have sworn I commented on this earlier. Apparently either FTB or my formerly unreliable internet connection (JUST got a new cable modem! Yay!) let me down.

    Anyway, I’d walk around out into the road to avoid that. Those tendrils look like they’d reach out and grab you if you try to leave.

    Looks like it might be wisteria. The planting instructions for it are: Dig hole. Place wisteria plant in hole. Stand back!

    @4: Yeah, I was able to Google up some images of that structure without all the growth. It looks like it happened pretty quickly.

    Since my two previous comments seem to have fallen into Link Limbo, I shall try again without a link. Anyhow, I found a blog saying it’s at 72nd street and CPW, and is indeed wisteria. No idea where that is relative to Strawberry fields.

    72nd and CPW is where Strawberry Fields is. The pergola is closer to the lake (farther into the park) and a wee bit to the north.
