Yikes. The Mac version of No Man’s Sky just dropped on Steam, and like all the previous updates is totally free to all who already own it.
I’m downloading it now, but won’t be able to get to it for a while. Maybe this weekend.

I know there’s a lot of Blizzard haters, but Diablo 4 opens to general release next Tuesday. Just in time for the tropical heat to settle in and force me indoors.

I always suggest the IMHO superior hack-and-slash game Path Of Exile for Diablo fans. I’m betting that it’s miles better than anything Diablo 4 will have. And it’s free! (Microtransaction based. If you play it a lot, you’ll want to spend like 20 bucks on extra inventory space in town eventually, but that’s all you really need.)
My DM canceled D&D this week just so he could play D4, lol. He still hasn’t tried PoE, which bewilders me a little.
birgerjohansson@1: I actually bought a Switch a few months ago just to play Breath of the Wild. I’ve played most of the mainstream ones since Ocarina, and was looking forward to it, but I’ve played it for maybe 40 minutes or so. I don’t dislike open worlds, and I certainly don’t dislike Zelda, but it just isn’t for me and from what I’ve heard, neither will Tears of Heaven be my cup of tea.
Minecraft’s yet to bore me after over a decade, fortunately.
Oh, the poor cat will have to do without PZ’s affections all weekend!
