Snubbed!

This is great. Watch the recipients of the Congressional Gold Medal, all cops in the capitol police, refuse to shake hands with McConnell and McCarthy. Ol’ Turtlehead is left standing there with his hand held out.

Everyone should do this. Refuse any contact from those guys.

In the non-uniformed line that passes Schumer (I think), McConnell, and McCarthy, the first old fellow shakes Schumer’s hand and then looks at McConnell and seems to shake his head like “No way I’m shaking your sleazy hand.”

I disagree. I can think of one form of contact that would be acceptable.
It involves one of my boots connecting quite briskly with each of their buttocks.
A probable result would be the first Americans to land on Mars…

Between this, and multiple senior R members of Congress being openly hostile to the spineless toady on the far right, I hope that the GOP gets the message that 70% of American voters are done with the maga crowd and their endless media circus of fascist dick-waving.

    PT Barnum comes to mind.

wzrd1, I have to disagree in the strongest terms. You have the right idea and the right height but the wrong side.

I’m glad Warnock won, and I’m optimistic but the margin is slim: 50.8% vs 49.2%. Per CBS there was record turn out for early voting, particularly in strong Democratic counties around Atlanta.

Warnock didn’t win by enough! It’s utterly disgraceful that Walker was even taken seriously by more than 20% of voters. This isn’t as embarrassing as it could have been, but it’s still way to embarrassing for my tastes.

It’s embarrassing that someone who talked about whether vampires could win a fight with werewolves during a political debate got even 5% of the votes.

Benny Hill would have been a more serious candidate, and he has been dead for thirty years. Hell, Lord Buckethead would have been a more serious candidate.

If Democrats had had a bigger majority in the senate it would have been fun to have Walker as a Republican senator constantly talking gibberish and embarrassing the party.

#18. What are you talking about? Even Senators in the minority have power.
There are plenty of entertainment options. Have you tried Netflix?
