    I totally agree. Niles Eldridge, I am looking at you! God, your book was useless. Also why don’t evolutionists discuss the evolution of mammals? Every popular defense of evol should have at least a chapter on it. I had pretty well given up on evol until I read Chris McGowan’s (now very dated) book. In one chapter he briefly but compellingly summarizes the fossil proto-mammals, another chapter on Archeopteryx. Most illuminating, both about the fossil evidence and the poor quality of most pro-evolution books.
