Where can I get me one of them little boxes?

I might overdo it just a little bit and liquify half of Stevens County. A sort of Thanos-snap that would leave little puddles of slimy goo everywhere.

Isn’t that a bit like shooting a kid with a bag of skittles because you felt threatened?
I hate anti-maskers as much as everyone else here but I wouldn’t commit a crime about it.

That said, I had a very effective plan if I ever ran into one. My plan was to drop my pants. “The pants go back on when your mask goes on.”

I should mention that I live in Portland, OR where public nudity is considered free speech.

@1 Nice strawman but it isn’t the same. I know two people personally who have died from COVID and one who died because they couldn’t get into the ICU that was filled with anti-vaxxers/maskers and the fact that anti-maskers won’t stop is intentionally endangering others. I would absolutely serve jail time with a smile if it would stop anti-maskers in their tracks. The saving of lives that I did would be worth my own.

After all, it isn’t even COVID that worries me with anti-vaxxers, it is the fact if someone gets in an accident there aren’t any ICU beds, and people are already dying because of COVID without actually catching it. If you are an anti-masker/anti-vaxxer I firmly think unless there is a medical reason you don’t deserve to go into ICU if someone who did take the shot and wears the mask needs the bed instead.

Idaho’s hospital systems statewide have now failed, being overrun with Covid-19 patients.
They are exporting their patients to neighboring states which have hospitals that are now on the edge of failing.

The response of the Idaho GOP was to put an antivax quack doctor, Ryan Cole, on their Central Health Board just two weeks ago. This of course, makes no sense whatsover.
AFAICT, the state of Idaho plan to combat the Covid-19 virus epidemic is…to do nothing whatsoever.
Just let the hospital fill up with very sick patients and watch them die.

It is also likely, almost all of the Idaho GOP leaders are…vaccinated.

Doctor who called COVID-19 vaccine ‘needle rape’ is now on Idaho’s largest regional health board Catherine Garcia, Night editor Thu, September 16, 2021, Yahoo news edited for length

As Idaho hospitals deal with having so many coronavirus patients that they now have the option of rationing health care, the newest member of the state’s largest public health board, a doctor who has called COVID-19 vaccines “fake” and “needle rape,” is settling in.

Ryan Cole, a pathologist in Boise, has replaced Dr. Ted Epperly on the Central District Board of Health. Epperly served on the board for 15 years, but was ousted because he supports taking public health measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus. Cole, who was backed by the Ada County Republican Party, was chosen by the Republican county commissioners, …

Cole has spent much of the pandemic on the right-wing media circuit downplaying the virus and touting unproven treatments for it, like the anti-parasitic drug ivermectin. During an event this summer in San Antonio, he called the coronavirus vaccine “fake” and “needle rape,” later telling KTVB it was a “tongue-in-cheek” comment.

Idaho has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the United States, with just 40 percent of residents fully vaccinated, .”

Then and now, The fight against seat belts 1984.

    Seat belts protect the wearer.

Perhaps a better analogy would be if people decided that they should be able to drive on whichever side of the road they prefer–because body sovereignty in the nationhood of private car property freedom markets.

Correct me if I am mistaken, but does not reality itself seem to have a head-exploding effect on a certain, ahem, “demographic” these last few years?
(In Britain, they are just called “gammons” as they turn red by constant rage).

Just gonna point out that anti-maskers are an actual danger to others, and use of force is justifiable when my life is endangered. They’re spreading a deadly illness, thus putting my life in danger. Self-defense is warranted.

    @#10, WMDKitty:

I am actually okay with that, as long as you take “defensive action” against some other things which are a danger to others. Let me get you started with a short list:

    • The carbon footprints of the rich [ X, X ]

    • American police [ X, X, X, X, X ]

    • Lack of regulation on drug prices [ X ] (and don’t forget that there is now published direct evidence that the infamous Joe Manchin’s infamous daughter insisted on illegal price-fixing as a pharma CEO…)

    • Lack of viable public transportation [ X ]

    You can’t fight every battle.
Fighting one is not invalid because you didn’t fight a different one.
Your approach leads to no battles being faught at all.
